Virtual Session via Zoom. Learn how to use Adobe Acrobat Pro to check PDFs and remediate for accessibility. This 2-hour course will cover the basics of setting up accessibility tools and views, performing accessibility checks, and remediating potential problems by tagging documents to ensure proper reflow and reading order, structuring tables & lists, adding alternative text for images and formulas, identifying hyperlinks, creating bookmarks, and more.
NOTE: Participants should have an understanding of basic web accessibility or should attend a workshop prior to attending this training. You will need a copy of the most recent version of Adobe Acrobat DC/Pro to participate because we will not be in a lab. Creative Cloud for Education (Acrobat is in this bundle) is available by request from the UNR OIT Adobe Creative Cloud request page. If you do not have this software yet (or in time), please reschedule for a future session or
feel free to watch and attend again later when you can participate in the hands-on activities.
